Hello! I'm so excited to finally be sharing Jeff and Harmony's wedding with you today :) These two are self proclaimed nerds with a flair for fun and incorporated the cutest details into their day. Keep an eye out for video game references, dice, and lots of math :) 
Harmony was soooo calm and collected the day of her wedding... an amazing fete when you consider how many DIY projects she had to get done.

The dance floor was pretty hopping all night...
In fact people were so busy dancing they didn't even seem to notice us sneak off for a few bonus photos. I hadn't played with light painting since high school... it was SO fun!

Today I thought I'd share photos from the Rabahieh family's photo shoot last month. Sophie is growing so fast... I love that I get to document it :) Just look at that giant smile:
She wasn't so sure about being trapped in the ivy....
But she eventually got over it. I just love this series :)

Hello, Happy New Year! Now that the holidays are over its back to work as usual... and I have to say I'm looking forward to it :) Especially because it means I finally have a chance for blog posts like this one. Meet Baby Desmond, the newest addition to the Acevedo Family:

Hello and Merry Christmas Eve!!! I hope you're all loving the holiday cheer, gifting, and cold weather as much as I am. This has been a particularly crazy holiday season for me, but now that the big day is finally almost here I'm excited. Christmas has always been my favorite holiday and I'm still learning how to enjoy it as an adult with to-do lists, a business, tons of family to shop for, and no time for sleep.... hopefully by the time I'm 40 I'll have it down to a science, but until then I can honestly say my family, friends, and amazing clients make all the chaos worth it.
Anyway, I thought I'd better get back to blogging and share this beautiful Christmasy wedding before the season was over. I have lots and lots of portrait shoots and wedding photos to share with you all before the year is over and I start rounding up my 2012 faves.
You may remember Clark and Becky from their super cute engagement session (click here to see it). They have an amazing easy style and completely wowed me with their mad DIY skills... seriously I feel as though every time I turned around there was a great little detail or a fun surprise waiting for me. I just hope I was able to capture all the fun with my camera so they can remember it all in the years to come.
Of course we started with photos in the bridal suite... these giant windows made my heart sing.
Becky made these adorable paper flowers... the perfect backdrop for the shiny goods.
Becky was all smiles and laughs.
One of my favorites of the day... big windows, sheer curtains, and a lovely bride always make for a beautiful photo.
2nd favorite detail of the day... Becky's amazing bouquet that she (of course) made herself:

I love the twirl that inevitably comes after the first look :)
Another photographer graciously let us borrow this awesome couch for a couple shots... sometimes fighting over shoot locations with other photographers is a good thing, haha.
On to the ceremony...
Holy cuteness!
After the ceremony we took a little walk to the Fullerton Train Station for some fun photos. This next one was obviously Pinterest inspired:
The reception details were not only beautiful, but absolutely everywhere. No corner was left unbeautified.
My absolute favorite detail of the day is the cake topper... it's so simple, but so unbelievably cute!
Their first dance song was You've Got A Friend In Me from Toy Story... sang by one of her bridesmaids :)
Becky had quite a few surprises waiting for Clark for the garter...I honestly don't know how she got a lizard, traffic cone, stethoscope, 'do not enter' sign, and who knows what else up there... it was pretty funny.
And, not to leave the ladies out of the fun, Becky had one last surprise for the bouquet toss :)
